Marian Weber and Arthur H. Boelte Scholarship

The Marian Weber Boelte & Arthur H. Boelte Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 by brother and sister, Kenneth (“Kenn”) Boelte and Cheryl Boelte Hatfield, in memory of their parents. Kenn received a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from KU in 1972. Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in Education from KU in 1967. Their mother, Marian, was head dietician at Bell Memorial Hospital at the KU Medical Center in the 1930s before her marriage. Their father, Arthur, owned Boelte-Hall Lithograph in Kansas City.

This scholarship is for students with academic merit and financial need in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition in the School of Health Professions.
