Hixson Opportunity Award

The Hixson Award helps incoming freshman who are Kansas residents facing major personal and financial hardships come to KU. Awards are renewable for four years. Hixson Scholars engage in advising, tutoring, workshops, and peer mentoring. Freshmen scholarship recipients take a course together in the Fall semester.
