TURNER JOHN D AND MARYLOU SAYLER MATHEMATICS SCHOLARSHIP

This fund shall be used to provide undergraduate/graduate scholarships for students exhibiting financial need and majoring in mathematics at the University of Kansas. Recipient must be a US citizen and a graduate of a Kansas high school. To assist the University in building the diverse community that is essential to achieving its stated mission, the University may select recipients based on criteria established in the University Policy on Diversity of the Student Body. If the University determines it appropriate to consider for purposes of diversity, gender may also be a factor, but it will not be dispositive of a decision. The donor expresses a preference for the selection of female students from the Sigma Kappa sorority. The amounts of the scholarship and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee approved by the Chancellor.
