HEART OF AMERICA PATRIOT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

This fund shall be used to provide an annual scholarship(s) for selected student(s) who qualify for VA education benefits for survivors and dependents (Chapter 35 Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (DEA)) and who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. The scholarship should be awarded in the amount of not less than $1,000 annually to recipients satisfactorily progressing toward degree completion. The amounts of the scholarship and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee approved by the Chancellor.
