The Boroujerdi Family Study Abroad Scholarship

“The Boroujerdi Family Study Abroad Scholarship provides study abroad scholarships for in-state, undergraduate students at the University of Kansas whose study abroad program will help fulfill credits in art, history, or art history. Eligible study abroad locations include Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and The Netherlands.

Beginning in academic year (AY) 2021-22, the fund will provide 4 scholarships of $1,000 each for six academic years, followed by 3 scholarships of $1,000 in the seventh academic year:
AY 2021-22 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2022-23 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2023-24 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2024-25 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2025-26 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2026-27 $4,000 (Four $1,000 scholarships)
AY 2027-28 $3,000 (Three $1,000 scholarships)

If Study Abroad & Global Engagement is not able to fill scholarships in any given academic year, the scholarship(s) may be rolled to the following academic year, but may not go below the numbers per year delineated."
