VAUGHN THOMAS EDISON BLACK EDUCATION MATTERS SCHOLARSHIP

This fund shall be used to provide scholarships for students at the University of Kansas who reside in/or around the Chicago, IL area. To assist the University in building the diverse community that is essential to achieving its stated mission, the University may select recipients based on criteria that will contribute to the diversity of the student body, the donor expresses a preference for students of African or African American descent. The amounts of the scholarship and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee approved by the Chancellor.
