James R. Walters Joint JD/MBA Scholarship

This Fund is established with the intent of providing scholarships for students enrolled in the joint J.D. and MBA degree program in the School of Law and the School of Business at the University of Kansas (“Joint Degree”). This Joint Degree program was established in 1970 with Donor being one of the first graduating participants in 1975. The scholarship(s) will be available to recipients who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above for a maximum of 4 years. If a student does not enroll in the Joint Degree program until after his/her first year of Law School, then the scholarship will only be available for 3 following years. The amounts of the scholarships and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee determined by KU Law and approved by the Chancellor.
