Gary Irish Navy ROTC Award

This fund shall be used to provide financial support for students in the Navy ROTC at the University of Kansas. Support may include, but is not limited to, scholarships, awards, fellowships and teaching or research assistantships. It is the intent of the donor that one recipient each year receives a $500 award. Preference will be given to a second semester sophomore pursuing a business degree year with a GPA of at least 2.5 selected from Tier 3. If nobody fits the criteria from Tier 3 then the recipient should be chosen from Tier 2 and then Tier 1. Expenditures from the fund shall be made upon the recommendation of the Commanding Officer of the Navy-ROTC with the approval of KU Endowment.
