Outlaws and Allies Law Schol

This fund shall be used to provide scholarships for the students in the School of Law at the University of Kansas. Preference shall be given to students who identify as LGBTQ+ or demonstrate support for improving the legal and social standing of the LGBTQ+ community. Students can demonstrate this support through student/community organization involvement, pro bono service, work experience, and/or community service. If multiple students meet the criteria for this scholarship in a given year, the school should award the scholarship to a student demonstrating financial need. The law school will continue to stay up-to-date with the appropriate language identifying the target group for this scholarship so it remains as inclusive as possible.
