KU School of Business Internship Scholarship

The KU School of Business, with support from alumni donors, offers scholarship resources to students who are completing unpaid internships and/or face significant financial barriers toward completing their internship requirement. Awards vary depending on need and fund availability. Awards will range from $250-$1,000. Please note, any award in excess of your expenses may be considered taxable income.
Funding may cover:
• Tuition for BUS 310
• Housing, relocation, or equipment required for a virtual internship not covered by your employer
• Food
• Professional Clothing
• Transportation (excluding car payments, insurance, registration, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements:
• Be an enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate student in the School of Business at the University of Kansas
• Obtain a qualifying internship
• Return to KU as an enrolled undergraduate student in the term following your internship (awards are not available to graduating seniors)
• Demonstrate a clear link between the internship and your career goals
• Priority will be given to students with a clear need for financial assistance, who may have undue hardship when taking on this internship, or where funds would have a significant impact on the student.
