Gartung-Lyons Family Schol

This fund shall be used to establish scholarships for students who graduated from the Summer Venture in Business program and matriculated on to the KU School of Business. The fund will provide scholarship(s) to one or more undergraduate students, annually. Preference will be given to students with academic merit and/or need. Should the Summer Venture in Business Program cease operations, the scholarship may be awarded only to previous participants still attending KU School of Business as undergraduates. Should there be no such students left during the 5-year gift term, the program will be suspended, and the terms of the gift would need to be re-evaluated. The amounts of the scholarship and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee approved by the Chancellor.
