School of Business Annual Scholarship

The Jack Lockton Certificate in Insurance and Risk Management is pleased to announce the creation of four scholarships. To be eligible, you must be (1) a graduating senior (2) formally registered in the Jack Lockton certificate program (3) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25. The scholarship awards are $2,500, each, to be disbursed in Spring 2025 (your semester of graduation). The scholarships include the following:
• Aetna Insurance and Risk Management Scholarship
• Security Benefit Scholarship
• Chubb Insure the Future Scholarship
• Kansas Insurance and Financial Services Education Foundation Scholarship

    • 1. I understand that my academic work will be reviewed to determine my academic eligibility. I understand that if I am selected to receive a scholarship, my award is contingent upon enrollment as a School of Business student who is in good academic standing for the Fall semester.
    • 2. I hereby certify any award(s) received by me through the School of Business Scholarship Program will be used solely for expenses related to continued full-time enrollment (minimum 12 hours per semester for undergraduate students and 6 hours per semester for graduate students) in the University of Kansas School of Business. I understand if I drop below the minimum hours required for full-time status, I may not receive my scholarship.
    • 3. I understand that if I am selected to receive a scholarship award through the University of Kansas School of Business, the following will be expected of me as a recipient: write a thank you letter to my donor(s).
    • 4. I hereby certify that the statements herein are true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that the decisions of the scholarship committee related to me will be based on the information I have provided in my scholarship application.
    • 5. I understand that to be considered for a scholarship based on financial need I will need to fill out a FAFSA or ISNAW form.
    • 6. I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee I will receive funds.
