Wealthy Babcock Scholarship

Scholarships for students in mathematics who exhibit financial need and academic promise. The amounts of the scholarships to be awarded shall approximate, to the extent that it is feasible, the amounts of the annual awards which are made to deserving teachers through the Florence Black-Mathematics Department Fund. Balance on income available each year shall be used to support acquisitions and maintenance of the Wealthy Babcock reading Room in the Department of Mathematics
