Mildred Hoffman Brooker Scholarship

Used to provide at least one $500 scholarship each year for deserving students at the University of Kansas. While I place no legal commitment on any recipient to repay stipends granted from the scholarship fund, it is my desire that each recipient should make contributions to the Mildred Hoffman Brooker Scholarship Fund at such time as he or she is able to do so after leaving the University of Kansas. I would hope that the scholarship awards be reserved for students who are average academic capabilities but who prove a definite and stated financial need.
