CHESAPEAKE ENERGY SCHOLARSHIP

Shall be used to provide renewable undergraduate scholarships for junior and senior level students in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department at the University of Kansas. Preference shall be given to Petroleum Engineering students that are involved in extracurricular activities within the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas. The scholarship shall be renewed if the student maintains a grade point average of 3.0. The scholarship shall be dispersed according to the attached addendum: Spring 09: 2 juniors at $1,250 each. Total = $2,500 Year 09-10: 3 seniors at $2,500 each (renew 2 juniors spring 09) and 2 new juniors at $2,500 each. Total = $12,500 Year 10-11: 2 seniors at $2,500 each (renew 2 juniors 09-10) and 2 new juniors at $2,500 each. Total = $10,000 Year 11-12: 2 seniors at $2,500 each (renew 2 juniors 10-11) and two new juniors at $2,500 each. Total = $10,000 Year 12-13: 2 seniors at $2,500 each (renew 2 juniors 11=12) and two new juniors at $2,500. Total = $10,000.
