KU INitiatives_Grant

This fund shall be used to provide direct financial support of $1,000 annually to one junior, senior, or graduate student at the University of Kansas pursuing an area of research furthering Native American knowledge. Applicants shall provide a brief proposal describing their research objectives. Support may include, but is not limited to, scholarships, awards, travel support, fellowships, and teaching or research assistantships. Upon completion of their research, recipients will provide a brief summary of project outcomes. Expenditures from the fund shall be made upon the recommendation of the Executive Director of the University Academic Support Centers with the approval of KU Endowment.
