Joanne & William Conway Nursing Scholarship

Conway Scholarships will be awarded to traditional BSN students who are (a) enrolled full time at SON on either Kansas City or Salina campus, (b) have demonstrated high financial need for the given academic year based on the FASFA, which need is not fully met after allocation of other available scholarships and financial aid, © have demonstrated academic achievement based on GPA of at least 3.0, and (d) are residents of the State of Kansas. The average annual scholarship award shall not exceed $5,000. In making awards, in the case of otherwise equal applicants, students with the highest financial need will receive priority. Conway Scholarship will be renewable, assuming said recipient continues to satisfy the scholarship criteria. No representative of MS GIFT, Fund or Advisor shall participate in selecting any recipients of the scholarships or the renewal of any scholarships awarded. The parties acknowledge and agree that scholarships will be applied as a credit on the students school account in accordance with KU Med policies and procedures.
