U-CHaMP Rural Residency
The U-CHaMP Rural Residency aims to partner with rural community education stakeholders with a goal of recruiting students who have an intrinsic desire to provide care to those most in need and aspire to return to the rural healthcare workforce. The U-CHaMP Rural Residency experience allows students to immerse themselves in learning about health disparities in underserved communities. The U-CHaMP program will provide an opportunity for the students to learn how they can be part of the solution for improving rural health disparities. Students will work side-by-side with a physician and medical students at the Community Health Center of SE Kansas in Pittsburg KS.
