Student Partners for Educational Excellence (CTE)
The Student Partner Advisory Board Scholarship recognizes undergraduate students at the University of Kansas who demonstrate a strong commitment to improving teaching and learning through collaboration, creativity, and civic engagement.
Recipients serve as Student Partners who collaborate with faculty from the Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM)—including departments such as Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics—as well as with staff from the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and community partners who contribute to applied learning and outreach initiatives.
Through this scholarship, Student Partners bring forward the student perspective to help shape innovative and evidence-based teaching practices. Their work contributes to both campus and community efforts that strengthen the educational experience and promote real-world applications of learning.
While this year’s focus centers on the Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the scholarship is open to students from all majors who are passionate about enhancing the student experience and engaging with faculty, peers, and community collaborators to improve education at KU.
Selected students will receive a scholarship award and serve as active members of the Student Partner Advisory Board throughout the academic year.
