James R. Yoxall Scholarship

THIS IS AN M2 WITH MONTHLY PAYMENTS

This fund shall be used to provide scholarships for incoming freshmen students who graduated from rural high schools in the
state of Kansas and who are served by the KU Student Access Center at the University of Kansas. Preference shall be given to
students from Western Kansas defined as west of Russell, KS (including, Russell, KS). This scholarship shall be renewable
for four years if the recipients maintain a full-time class load and a cumulative GPA of 2.9 or higher. If there are no eligible
students in a given academic year, students who graduated from high schools in the state of Kansas served by the Student
Access Center may be considered as an alternate. The scholarship shall not be renewable for alternate students. If the annual
fund income allows for more than one scholarship to be awarded, the amount for each student should be a minimum of 20% of
current tuition to provide the greatest amount of impact to the greatest number of students. The amounts of the scholarship
and the recipients thereof shall be determined by an appropriate committee approved by the Chancellor.
