Mentored Scholars Program (MSP) Business
The Mentored Scholars Program in Business (MSP-Business) is a unique scholarship and mentoring initiative designed to create opportunities for students to excel academically, professionally, and personally. This program emphasizes holistic student development through intentional interactions. Benefits of the program include mentoring from alumni and faculty, individual and group meetings, professional networking and development opportunities, and social events. The ultimate goal of this program is to retain and graduate first-generation students, connecting them with postgraduate experiences that lead to successful careers of their choice.

- • I acknowledge that if selected for a scholarship, my award is contingent upon my enrollment as a student in the KU School of Business and my good academic standing.
- • I acknowledge that submitting this application does not guarantee that I will receive a scholarship or be accepted into MSP-Business.
- • I am aware that if my cumulative GPA falls below 2.5, my membership in MSP-Business may be discontinued.
- • I certify that any awards received through MSP-Business will be used solely for expenses related to continued full-time enrollment (a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate students). I understand that if I drop below the minimum required hours for full-time status, I may forfeit the scholarship.
- • I understand that active participation and engagement with faculty mentors and program coordinators are required to maintain the scholarship, including timely responses to emails and attendance at Business faculty and staff mentoring events.
